It is in downtown Marseille, between the Old Port and La Joliette districts, that the first residence The Babel Community Marseille was created in September 2017. A place where you can live, work, play sports, party and, above all, meet people.

Here, everything is designed to ensure that its occupants flourish: turnkey from turnkey coliving apartments to flexible Coworking workspaces. But there are also a number of communal areas designed for relaxing and sharing moments together: a restaurant restaurant, a sports hall and gymnasium, meeting meeting roomsa cineclub, terraces to share… All within a wider ecosystem of services (cleaning, dry-cleaning, concierge services, etc.) to make life easier and save time for what really matters!

Events are organised every day to encourage meetings between colivers, coworkers and local residents! Together they coexist and form a vibrant community: The Babel Community.

Following the success of its first coliving residence in Marseille, located on rue de la République, THE BABEL COMMUNITY is opening its second residence in Marseille in June 2021 in an emblematic building of the city: the former Galeries Lafayette on rue Saint-Ferréol! After 3 years of construction, this 1927 building, typical of Art Deco architecture, is being reinvented as a hybrid place of nearly 8,500m² where people can live, work, play sports, party and, above all, meet.

Here, everything is designed to ensure that its occupants thrive: turnkey from turnkey coliving apartments to flexible Coworking workspaces. But there are also numerous communal areas designed for relaxing and sharing moments together: 2 restaurants including a rooftop restaurant (what a view!!), a gymgym, meeting meeting rooms all part of a wider ecosystem of services (cleaning, laundry, concierge, etc.) to make life easier and leave time for what really matters! Events are organized every day to encourage meetings between colivers, coworkers and local residents!

REPUBLIC DISTRICT

An emblematic thoroughfare in the city of Marseille, rue de la république links the Vieux-Port and its many entertainment venues to the Joliette business district. Rue de la république is home to many shops, including a Monoprix just across the street, and is close to Les Terrasses du Port and Les Docks shopping centers. Climb a few steps and you find yourself in the picturesque Panier district.
